CONTINUE TO GET YOUR YEARLY CHECK UPS, EVEN AFTER A 5 YEAR CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH REPORT.

Scott BrandScott was 29 at his first diagnosis in 1994, and 45 when diagnosed with recurrent TC in 2011. He fought hard for 18 months doing everything he could, but passed just 10 days shy of his 47th birthday. He was tremendously proud of his four daughters, and loved them and his wife, Nicole, with everything he had! The only thing he loved more was the Lord! He considered his journey with TC a testimony of how you can remain faithful to the Lord, even when things don’t seem to be going the way you would like, because ultimately, HE has a bigger plan. Scott would promote testicular self-exams to any young man who would listen as he found his own lump when he was 29. Scott was cancer free for seventeen years but never continued to have his checkups. If he had had his AFP checked annually, they would have been able to catch it sooner.
